SAFETY ON THE JOB-SITE

Safety is an integral part of our corporate culture. At Tekton, our job-site safety program means much more than simple regulatory compliance. We recognize the vital importance of the safety, health, and the overall wellbeing of our most important resource; our people.

Each employee is expected to adhere to rigidly enforced safety procedures and is required to attend regular safety training sessions. Our written policy and procedure guide ensures the health and safety of all project personnel.

Our Certified Safety Auditor is registered with the Alberta Construction Association PIR and the Leadership for Safety Excellence programs. With senior management setting the example, high standards of health and safety increases productivity through eliminating lost man-hours caused by accidents, and reduces costs by managing risk.

We conduct regular audits by Tekton's safety auditor and every third year by an independent auditor. Our superintendents take regular safety upgrading seminars.
